Privacy Policy

This draft privacy policy explains how eSIMs.nz handles customer and order information. Please have your final wording reviewed before launch.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to process and support your order, including your email address, selected destination, eSIM plan details, billing country, IP address, coupon information, payment references, order status, invoice details, and support messages.

How we use information

We use your information to process payments, provision eSIMs, deliver installation details, provide invoices, prevent misuse and fraud, manage your account, respond to support requests, and improve the reliability of our service.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store full credit card numbers or card security codes. We may store payment identifiers, transaction references, payment status, and limited payment metadata for order support and accounting.

eSIM provider data

To fulfil your order, we share necessary order details with our wholesale eSIM provider. This may include package code, transaction reference, eSIM identifiers, ICCID, activation status, usage status, QR or installation links, and other provisioning details.

Email and account access

Customer account access uses email magic-code sign-in. Accounts are available to customers who have placed an order. We use your email to send order confirmations, eSIM delivery details, invoices, account access codes, and support replies.

Fraud prevention

We may log IP address, order behaviour, payment status, and related technical information to prevent misuse, chargeback abuse, fraud, and unauthorised access.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use cookies and local storage to maintain checkout state, account sessions, cart details, and application preferences. Removing these may affect checkout or account functionality.

Data retention

We retain order, invoice, and support records for as long as reasonably required for customer support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and operational reporting.

Your rights

You may contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
