Terms of Service
These draft terms describe how eSIMs.nz supplies digital travel eSIMs. Please have your final wording reviewed before launch.
Service overview
eSIMs.nz supplies digital travel eSIM data plans. Your eSIM details are delivered electronically after successful payment and successful provisioning by our wholesale provider. Our eSIMs are mobile data only. No phone number is included, therefore no calls can be made or received through the eSIM. Please use apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, Viber, Skype, FaceTime or similar internet calling services for calls and messages. Plan availability, coverage, speeds, activation rules, and supported networks may vary by destination and wholesale provider.
Device compatibility
You are responsible for confirming that your device supports eSIM, is unlocked, and can use mobile data roaming at your destination. Data roaming is required for our eSIMs to work. Please install while connected to a strong Wi-Fi network before travelling, then turn off your eSIM until you arrive at your destination. Most phones support storing multiple eSIMs before use. Once you land or cross a border, turn on mobile data and data roaming to activate your eSIM.
Digital delivery
After successful payment, we request provisioning from our eSIM wholesale provider. Most eSIMs are available quickly, but some orders may require additional checks or provider processing. Delivery is complete when the eSIM installation details, QR code, or provider installation link is made available.
Activation and use
Some eSIM plans activate on first network use, while others may activate on installation. Please read the plan details carefully. You are responsible for installing and using the eSIM within the validity or activation window shown for the plan. Regional eSIMs may work across multiple countries, but can have short initial coverage delays at borders while carrier networks update or change.
Refunds and cancellations
Because eSIMs are digital products, refunds are not available once an eSIM has been activated, installed, used, consumed, expired, downloaded, or otherwise made available for use on a device. If an eSIM cannot be provisioned, or if there is a verified technical issue before activation or use, contact [email protected] for review.
Incorrect email or customer error
You must provide a correct delivery email address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by an incorrect email address, incompatible device, locked device, poor Wi-Fi during installation, deleting an installed eSIM, or activating the eSIM too early.
Acceptable use
You must not use our services for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or network-disruptive activity. We may refuse, suspend, or cancel service where misuse, fraud risk, chargeback abuse, or provider restrictions apply.
Support
For support, use the knowledgebase first and then contact [email protected] if you still need help. Please include your order number, destination, device model, screenshots where useful, and a description of the issue.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eSIMs.nz is not liable for indirect loss, roaming charges from your primary carrier, device incompatibility, destination network outages, speed variations, or travel disruption. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected eSIM order.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase unless a change is required by law or provider policy.
